How to taste Awa Bancha Tea (tea leaves are cut short for the use of tea pots)
Steep 5-gram or one tea bag in 500m or one liter boiling water in the kettle.
Wait for 5 minutes. When the color is changed into bright yellow, it is the best time for tasting. If you prefer strong tea, boil tea leaves for 5 to 10 minutes. Sour taste increases according to the length of boiling time. Awa Bancha Tea is enjoyed whether it is hot or cold.
